    • Uniquely designed as the first step towards earning the Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice
    • Satisfies the education requirements of the New York Police Department (NYPC) and many other police departments
    • Graduates of the New York City Police Department may be awarded credit for field training
  • B.S. in Criminal Justice
    • Provides a comprehensive understanding of our multifaceted criminal justice system: police, courts and corrections
    • Off-campus internships available that provide practical experience in various fields
    • Uniformed police officers eligible to receive a special discount
    • Students completing courses at the New York City Police, Correction, or at the Nassau County or New York State Police academies may apply to receive credit for field training
    • Co-Op Education Program provides experience in professional positions with select criminal justice agencies
  • M.P.S. in Criminal Justice Leadership (Concentration in Homeland Security)
    • Innovative 36-credit program prepares criminal justice professionals for leadership positions in homeland security
    • Graduates work in a number of federal agencies, including the Secret Service, FBI, DEA, Homeland Security and the CIA
    • Course topics include emergency planning, risk analysis, critical incident planning, bioterrorism, interagency cooperation and ethics
